For the last few years our small manufaktur in the German heartland has been quietly producing individualized eyewear frames, leather accessories and equestrian products to enhance and go beyond the bespoke Maybach motoring experience. Production has gone largely to buyers of the new Mercedes-Maybach and discrete clients in the Middle East, Europe and Asia. We are now making a small selection of items available in North America, exclusively on this website.

Building the most technically advanced engines and cars possible was an underlying principle in Karl Maybach's work. His talent didn’t travel far from his father Wilhelm’s who designed the first high-speed internal combustion engine in 1883 and the first Mercedes in 1901. Maybach engines powered bespoke cars, yachts, turn of the century Zeppelins and the world’s first hi-speed train in 1932. They are still in use today.

Prized for its powerful engines and sophistical transmissions, the Maybach stunned the world by reaching speeds of more than 120 mph, a speed considered ‘blinding’ during the era. Every Maybach car was custom-made to the buyer’s specification and designed to be exceptionally unique.

Reminiscent of these early days of motor touring, our leather goods, accessories, and silk scarves are completely handcrafted by highly trained artisans and only in small quantities. These extraordinary statement makers embody the essence of what is Maybach.
